You are the reason we can say yes
Every dollar we give a Florida family came from somebody who decided a stranger's dog was worth it. Your gift goes straight to a vet. Nobody pays it back.
See what a gift actually does
Tap an amount. Then put it in the form.
- It goes to the vet, not the ownerEvery grant is paid directly to the treating veterinary hospital. That is how a fund like this stays honest with the people who give to it.
- Only where treatment worksWe fund cases the vet expects to go well. Your money is spent where it changes the ending, not where it just delays one.
- A grant, never a loanNobody repays us and nobody is charged interest. The family walks out of the clinic with their pet and no new debt.
- Registered 501(c)(3)EIN 86-2988264. Your donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
A monthly gift is the most useful thing anybody can give a small fund. It is the only money we can count on before we know who walks through the door.
What a gift actually buys
This is the other end of it
She walked into that room expecting a conversation she had been dreading all week. Then she read something on her phone and found out the bill was covered.
That is the whole thing. Not a logo on a newsletter. A person finding out, in a small room, that she gets to keep her dog.
Other ways to help
Give in memory of a pet
Many people give after losing an animal of their own. If you would like your gift to be in a pet's name, tell us the name and we will record it.
Ask your employer to match
Plenty of companies match what their staff give to charity and most people never check. It is usually a two minute form and it doubles your gift.
Put a sheet on your counter
If you run a veterinary practice, a groomer, a shelter or a pet shop, our printed sheet on your counter is how families find us.
Tell one person
Most people have never heard that funds like this exist. The next family who needs us is probably already in somebody's phone.
